I'm pretty sure we've had a thread about this before.
― Tuomas, Sunday, 28 October 2007 16:43 (eighteen years ago)
Ah, okay, you actually mention the previous thread in your post.

Three more I can think of:
Dschingis Khan: "Moskau" (Moskau is the German name for Moscow)
Fintelligens feat. Petter & Peewee: "Stockholm - Helsinki" (I'm not sure if this counts since it has two cities)
Tragedy: "L.A., L.A."

Another two-city tune:
Illegal Alien: "Frankfurt, This Is The Hague"

"new amsterdam" - elvis costello - does this count?
and to be literal "Cities"- talking heads
― outdoor_miner, Sunday, 28 October 2007 17:10 (eighteen years ago)
There were some other responses in the other thread with more than one city in the title. I didn't include them in the list as I was interested in songs on just one city.
x-post: new amsterdam is the old name for new york, isn't it? i guess that counts.

Apparently Madonna has a tune called Buenos Aires, though I've never heard it. Is this from the Evita soundtrack?

What about longer titles with a city in the name, like "L.A. Is My Lady" or "Come Back to Sorrento" or "The Night Chicago Died"?
― Tuomas, Sunday, 28 October 2007 17:21 (eighteen years ago)
I think for those we should have another thread. I also started a list but there are far too many titles. To be honest I am most interested in songs which are about cities. They do not have to have the city in the title. But that's anotehr thread as well, I guess.

Livonia is an old name for a region in the Baltic area, it's not a city.
― Tuomas, Sunday, 28 October 2007 18:39 (eighteen years ago)
It is if you grew up in Livonia, Michigan!
