Anything non-Core 9.
Here's a list.

Gravediggas (1st album only) no contest

I'm pretty sure we've had a thread on this already... Anyway, the first Gravediggaz album is better than any proper Wu record, and the second one is nice too, though not as good as 6 Feet Deep. Killah Priest's albums are all worthwhile, especially Priesthood. Sunz of Man have some great singles (especially "Shining Star"), but I dunno about their albums.

Yeah I seem to recall the phrase "second-tier" in the thread title too, but I searched for like twenty minutes with variations on wu tang/wu-tang/wu-affiliates/wu-affilliated etc, no dice.
Anyway, the first Gravediggaz album is better than any proper Wu record
This might rival Geir's best as the Most Ridiculous Thing Ever Said on ILM.

Also, you should search the three tunes the British breakbeat crew Genaside II did with The Otherized F.A.M.: "Choose Ya Weapon", "Basic Killer Instinct" (which also features Cappadonna), and "Just As Rougher" (with Eek-A-Mouse and Lounging Lou, this one is only available on the Breakbeat Science 2 comp; there's also a rapless version called "Just As Rough" with only Eek-A-Mouse). They're all great!

Well, it just happens to be my favourite rap LP ever. The beats are like a better, updated version of those on 36 Chambers (thanks to Prince Paul), the Grym Reaper's raps on this record are better than anything I've ever heard from the 9 Wu members (except maybe GZA on Liquid Swords), and the all of the guests do an impeccable job.

Well I would never assail a man's favorite.

For example, I don't really know much about Shabazz the Disciple, but I'll always remember him for one of the best guest verses ever on "The Diary of a Madman": "I've been examined ever since I was semen / they took a sonogram and saw the image of a demon..."
