Actually, he's really close friends with Seger, apparently. And as much as I love MC5 and the Stooges, Nugent sure wound up making good music for a few decades longer than any of those guys did.

(Okay, a few decades might be a slight exagerration. But Craveman is 2002 and New Values is 1979, so that's pretty close. Nugent made a better album than the Stooges this year, too.)

(Oh wait, Soldier = 1980, my bad. Still.)
