You forgot "What You Gonna Do", "R U Ready", and "Ruff Neck Sound" at least.

That said my pick is probably "Re-Rewind" followed by a tie b/w "Movin' Too Fast" and "It Ain't Enough".

Of the many remixes of the above tracks my favourite is the Wideboys remix of "Woman Trouble". The Zed Bias remix of "Moving Too Fast", Stanton Warriors remix of "Please Don't Turn Me On", Wideboys remix of "Re-Rewind", Dubaholics remix of "Twenty Four Seven" and Basement Remix of "Ruff NEck Sound" are all choice too.

Ah, Southampton's lasting (and more or less only) contribution to popular culture.

I vote Movin' Too Fast for it's overall loveliness.

Went top 40 singles only, not a diss. I also missed out the single they did for Southampton's FA Cup final appearance in 2003.

From what I can remember that wasn't them so much as an associate of theirs, MC Alistair. I'm kinda torn on it - on the one hand, it's the only top 40 single to ever namecheck Chris Marsden; on the other, it is bloody awful.

William Bloody Swygart, Friday, 26 September 2008 11:29 (seventeen years ago)

I was about to say something similar. It's awful and not even produced by them. BUT ...

Is the story about Craig David not being able to play in a testimonial (whose?) because he hadn't paid his Sunday league subs years before true?

The player told the Express newspaper: "If need be, I'll pay the £18 myself."

I love Jason Dodd, but we're off topic.

Missed this. I would've gone with the crowd, though Twenty Four Seven's a nice tune also.

Think About Me has a really exciting build, then a limp little anti-climax of a beat.

seven years pass...

just listened to re-rewind again. there's something at once very specific in time about it and also still modern and not assimiliated.
