at least one of the songs on Roy Harper's Flat Baroque and Berserk, the one with some studio banter of him saying "Rolling...a joint" I think?
Sorry I can't be more helpful here
― Thierry Ennui (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 14 March 2010 17:37 (sixteen years ago)
Thinking there's gotta be at least one or two songs on comedy albums recorded live where the beginning of the track is audience laughter, but that's gotta be cheating, surely.
― Sean Carruthers, Sunday, 14 March 2010 17:53 (sixteen years ago)
(If you change the original question to "tracks that begin with lols" rather than "songs that begin with lols" and it opens up the entire world of comedy albums.)

no plans to do anything with these songs other than think it's neat that i can be driving home listening to that silkworm song yesterday thinking that if i can think of at least two other songs off the top of my head that begin with lols then i wonder how many ILM can come up with, because i desire to contribute new and interesting ideas for list generation to it when i can, you know, no big whoop

Wouldn't say Athlete Cured has ambient/studio-captured laughter at the beginning - that's more a blood-curdling scream I reckon.
There's a sort of subset here, laughter after a false start to the song (where somebody's messed up), there's a version of Everybody's Movin' by Glen Glenn where this happens, and also Be Honest by The Wedding Present I think?
