Polvo + Suede = ?

what would such a band sound like? could any bands fit this brief? ideally it should be 'This Eclipse' era Polvo and 'Coming Up' era Suede, but other periods will do. please don't say bobby conn, ok?

Shudder To Think seems pretty spot on to me. Much better than both Polvo and Suede as well.

I dunno, there's a definite glam thing going on w/STT which is not too dissimilar to parts of Suede's outlook. Of course, STT actually manage to do this without going on about nuclear war and gasoline all the time.

archers of loaf seem a whole lot nearer to polvo than they do to suede though don't they?

i always thought of the archers of loaf as a bland version of Polvo's poppier moments. And the few Suede songs I've heard were astonishingly bland.
