I know it's ancient, but I'd still like to hear people's thoughts on it. Also, anyone know what Brian DeGraw's up to at the moment? I heard he's trying visual art now and trying to emulate Raymond Pettibon.

it's SSAB SONGS, actually. it's pretty nice nurse with wound type surrealism with bits of folky twaddle mixed in. i probably enjoyed it more than "gummo."

SSAB, I meant to say. :) I've been listening to it a lot lately, and wished there were more. Nurse With Wound is absolute genius.

Thanks Ned. :) ;) You know, I was wondering, just speaking as one NWW fan to another... have you ever listened to a band called Current 93? I always see their name in association with NWW, and was wondering if they were similar, any good, etc.

*chuckle* Calling it an association is an understatement. ;-) David Tibet is to Current 93 as Mr. Stapleton is to NWW, and the two of them have often collaborated on each other's work, done guest spots, worked with other artists in the same vein, etc. Tibet is generally speaking more of a acid/pagan/folk type, but in many ways the musical difference is just one of degrees. Drop me a line and I'll dig up more information fer ya.
