Which programmed/sequenced bits of which songs do you think are the most original/complex/innovative/effective? My vote goes to the first half of R-Tymes’ ‘R Theme’ or maybe Steve Gurleys’ remix of Victor Romeos’ ‘Inside you".

I'm not sure I understand your question, but R-Theme by R-Tyme is one of the best tracks ever! It was probably very difficult to program when it was made, and it's supremely effective. What's Derrick May up to these days anyway? I swoon when I hear it.

he played at sankey's soap in manchester on friday night. what a set: "the climax", "groove la chord", the new rolando, even sylvester's "mighty real". the man can still dj!

Michael Wells of I Wanna Be a Hippie fame? Anyway, my vote at the moment goes to Inspiration by Underground Resistance, even though it's just a few months old.

are you referring to the record or my outlook on life? nice one - for the gag AND the tune - "inspiration" is one of the best of the year. my contribution, for what it's worth, would be "home entertainment" from carl craig's much underated "landcruising" lp....those strings....
