hated the N*E*R*D* album when i heard it - beggining to love it now - love the Neptunes production but it amazes me how different they are performance / production wise (reminds me abit of Ice-T vs his body count alter ego) im not saying that you cant be different from your signiture sound just that it was a surprise when i heard it - any thought on the neptunes / n*e*r*d

I really like this album a lot. It's probably my favorite release of this year.

I'm most interested in the motif of breathing at the beginning of almost every track on the album. what is up with this? Does it have some sort of special meaning that is beyond me?

The bretahing ting reminded me of a lot of James Brown albums (Hell, Reality and at least one other) where every track starts with the same sound. Could be a nod to that.

haha nice - i believe i am obviously being a tad oblivious - there are alot of up tight people around here who cant seem to let threads run without jumping in with the last time a thread was raised - why not just leave it - people here often act like others who post have been around since the year dot and therefore know every thread ever - well that isnt the case as new people post all the ttime maybe some people should just chill and let stuff run - i do so hope i havent offended anyone
