has anyone heard this song? The chorus goes "I get by by by by" I did a quick search of ILM and either nobody has mentioned it or google was wrong... it's by a guy named styles from the LOX, and the chorus not only has marvelous sped-up vocals in the middle of the chorus but also this weird pitchshift thing at the end of the chorus. It sounds like the producers though the vocal wasn't expressive enough so they added a random digital vibrato (or something like that) but didn't hit the "pitch-correct" button... It is not classic, but neither is it dud; more a pleasant surprise I guess...

it's called "Good Times (I Get High)" (she's saying "I get HIGH") - not classic because Styles' rapping is pretty weak. but the backing track and etc that you mention... the bomb!!

I have only heard the edited version, hence the mistake RE: correct lyrics. Also "though" = "thought"...

Aaron the N*E*R*D track "Tape You" sounds a lot like Swizz Beats. or listen to an actual Swizz Beats production, like anything off of Eve's most recent album. "Who's That Girl" is fairly representative.

the mtv video for it is called the "Get By Version" so it mighta been a radio edit. the swizz canon is stuff like ruff ryders anthem. he got sued for making a song that just used one of the preprogrammed melodies in his keyboard. his newest song guilty is pretty cool though.

yeah I've seen the video... pretty standard stuff but the blacklight scene is sorta cool. Now that I know the lyric is really "I Get High", all those scenes when he is in the bathroom collecting himself make a little more sense I guess...
