This just depends on how many you want to count up, and if too many would impact the speed with which you get a final tally. 25 is fine with me, but I know other people will want more.

The more votes there are, the chances of discovering something new AND deserving stuff rising both increase. IE a number 4 vote for Gettin Jiggy With It has less weight in a more crowded field.

Wouldn't it be though that less people with only a vague interest seem to vote? Wouldn't that be better? Like, 30 ppl actually interested in hip-hop > 60 ppl that could take it or leave it
