so a car just drove by playing 'spring love' -- that and 'i wanna be the one' are still pretty ace as far as freestyle singles go, i think. i'm not so keen on the postman song -- it came out during my hating-on-ballads phase -- but his dancier songs always had a wistfulness about them that made them sound so extra-good crackling out of my little crap radios, especially on chilly nights like tonight.

(although did he really need to remake 'if you need me now' so he could get the chief singing credit? tsk tsk.)
