No wait I don't. But, I hate the overpackaging of his last album (on vinyl, anyway, 4 12"s! Come ON) and that he's claimed he won't put out any more records. Of course he's also said he only claimed that to get attention, so WHO KNOWS?!?!? Anyway, Di wanted more threads. Who does hate AFX?

I was mighty disappointed by the Aphex Twin. I had been led to believe that this was a religious experience ... but it turned out like some kind of 90s version of Terry Riley. I was bored and underimpressed. Let them bring on something bigger!!!!!!!!! Music needs to cut some tendons, and the Aphex Twin barely stroked the skin.

also check out autechre, i have recently been introduced into the wonderfull goodness that is autechre. it's really good, but you need to listen to it for a bit before you get it. actually, any thing on warp records is good.

I had a period a couple years back when I was working at a job by myself all night, couldn't sleep during the day, and using mind-altering substances in attempt to keep my sense of humor intact. During that time, I found myself buying at least two albums/singles by Richard D. James a week, under the Aphex name or otherwise. This was for the stereo I had with me in the building, and often was the only company I had. I understand James writes most of his music in much the same state so maybe you just have to be floating around on that wave length to see what's so interesting about his music, which I could understand as not appealing to many record buyers.
