no, that would have been lego.

dominic tarr (dom), Friday, 21 February 2003 00:19 (twenty-three years ago)

My sister had one of them. I preferred My Little Pony.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 21 February 2003 01:30 (twenty-three years ago)

oh god, what an abomination. does anyone remember that cartoon show "wildfire" about the magical horse and that chick? i like that. i also like that song wildfire.

di smith (lucylurex), Friday, 21 February 2003 01:34 (twenty-three years ago)

That horse looks kind of stuck up - My Little Ponies seemed more appraochable! But anything is better than those horrible toys to do with shoes or something - they scare the fuck out of me.

Livvie Tapper (Livvie), Friday, 21 February 2003 10:37 (twenty-three years ago)

hahahha....fashion star fillie is a SNOB!

rebekah, Friday, 21 February 2003 15:58 (twenty-three years ago)

Help it looks too much like a REAL HORSE

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Saturday, 22 February 2003 01:13 (twenty-three years ago)

Remember Popples? Those were cool too.

Lola Falana, Saturday, 22 February 2003 04:23 (twenty-three years ago)

what was the toy that could be folded back into a sphere? was that a popple? or something else?

rebekah, Saturday, 22 February 2003 20:48 (twenty-three years ago)

I had a Popple, it was called "Potato Chip" according to it's little book. I was always getting hungry and biting it, for real.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Sunday, 23 February 2003 00:58 (twenty-three years ago)

Yeah, Popples were the little stuffed animals that folded into balls. They strted off all girly, and then they made ones that folded into basketballs and soccer balls for boys. Here's another old cartoon/trend...'member The Wuzzles? They are kinda obscure. They were little characters that were two animals in one. The one I remember most was "Bumblelion" he was half lion half bee. OLD SCHOOL!!

lola falana, Monday, 24 February 2003 03:10 (twenty-three years ago)

or OLD SKEWL! wuzzles sound so vaguely familiar but i can't pinpoint anything specific, how tragic.

rebekah, Monday, 24 February 2003 05:21 (twenty-three years ago)

I must have been such a wimpy kid, I remeber all these toys that used to scare me so much. And still do, actually. I also used to be frightened of Mrs Doubtfire and The Brave Little Toaster.

Livvie Tapper (Livvie), Monday, 24 February 2003 09:25 (twenty-three years ago)

elisabeth, you have the funniest stories of anyone i know.

rebekah, Friday, 28 February 2003 08:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I used to be really scared of the Count off Sesame St, I scribbled out a picture of him in one of my books of it. He was a VAMPIRE who was into MATHS, come on, it's horrible. Cookie Monster was a bit scary too, he'd eat anything at all if he was hungry enough... like say a little CHILD maybe. I was pretty young, of course, 15 or so

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 28 February 2003 08:46 (twenty-three years ago)

At least you had a reason - I was just kind of pathetic. Although the COUNT - he was by far the coolest Sesame Street character. Oh and I remembered the only movie that disturbed me as much as the Brave Little Toaster - All Dogs Go To Heaven. The bit where the dog got drunk haunted me for ages - clearly I had a pretty strong moral code at age seven.

Livvie Tapper (Livvie), Sunday, 2 March 2003 04:37 (twenty-three years ago)

Strong moral codes are good. Even at age seven. The Count rocks. So do the yip yips. They were awesome.

Lola Falana, Sunday, 2 March 2003 05:20 (twenty-three years ago)

i remember being just very much annoyed w/ the count. it's kind of like that friend you have who can only talk about one thing & wont shut up about it.

rebekah, Sunday, 2 March 2003 08:46 (twenty-three years ago)

Yes C is for Cookie and also CHILD!

Ess Kay (esskay), Sunday, 2 March 2003 11:46 (twenty-three years ago)

WHOOPs that was me

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Sunday, 2 March 2003 11:56 (twenty-three years ago)

I used to think the repetition was ENDEARING. Still do, actually. And he wasn't that repetitive - he counted different things each time! It might have helped a bit if he had learned to count in reverse or something though.

Livvie Tapper (Livvie), Monday, 3 March 2003 09:27 (twenty-three years ago)

he should have done exponents

webber (webber), Monday, 3 March 2003 09:47 (twenty-three years ago)

webber (webber), Monday, 3 March 2003 09:47 (twenty-three years ago)

three months pass...
No, he should've "done" the band.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 20 June 2003 05:13 (twenty-three years ago)
