The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Wednesday, 30 July 2003 01:05 (twenty-two years ago)

i dont think ive ever had it! The Almighty Americans may have a different name for it, what's it like?

black plastic (black plastic), Wednesday, 30 July 2003 01:08 (twenty-two years ago)

Food, ewwwwww says the GAY MAN

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Wednesday, 30 July 2003 01:52 (twenty-two years ago)

its basically pastry with an immense amount of custard in the middle, and icing w/ coconut on top.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Wednesday, 30 July 2003 02:19 (twenty-two years ago)

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm that sound damn good.
Is it better than an eclair though?

oops (Oops), Wednesday, 30 July 2003 02:56 (twenty-two years ago)

Dude. Awesome food. Goodamn...I need to cut down on my California vernacular. I sound like an idiot. I loooooooooooooove creamy stuff, and coconut rocks the fatness.

Lola Falana, Wednesday, 30 July 2003 05:18 (twenty-two years ago)

I bet you also love eating pussy, dont ya?

Adrian McCoy (Adrian McCoy), Wednesday, 30 July 2003 05:22 (twenty-two years ago)

Damn...I still sound like a Cali dork. You know what else I loooove? I love vegetables...Guys, I'm so serious...I think I'm the only person on this earth that loves cooked cabbage. It rocks. It has to be seasoned tho.

Lola Falana, Wednesday, 30 July 2003 06:09 (twenty-two years ago)

I like custard squares too, though they're pretty much too sweet for me now. Way better than an eclair! I also like vegetables if they're cooked right and it's not red cabbage, boiled potatoes or this strange clear thing my mum cooks.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Wednesday, 30 July 2003 08:24 (twenty-two years ago)

"I sound like an idiot"- Lola Falana

Indeed you do Lola, indeed you do.

But on a serious note: Have you ever played Quake or any of the doom games? Ever? I have. Its fun to kill things you know.

Adrian McCoy (Adrian McCoy), Wednesday, 30 July 2003 08:33 (twenty-two years ago)

it's not real adrian...

jonathan gittins (nevermind^), Wednesday, 30 July 2003 12:04 (twenty-two years ago)

i love avacado.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Wednesday, 30 July 2003 19:51 (twenty-two years ago)

Avocado is quite possibly the greatest food ever. It is perfect just by itself, or with other things...it is a legend. Plus it's good for your hair/skin/complexion. The only downfall is it is FULL of fat.

Lola Falana, Wednesday, 30 July 2003 20:03 (twenty-two years ago)

I like veggies. I like carrots.

As for custard, make mine a Crem Brulle... if that's how you spell it...

The Man they call Dan (The Man they call Dan), Thursday, 31 July 2003 02:37 (twenty-two years ago)

Creme Brulee, I think, but I only know that cos there's a Sonic Youth song called that

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 31 July 2003 02:53 (twenty-two years ago)

I like that custard that's in a milk carton, you can pour yourself a glass of it!!

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Thursday, 31 July 2003 04:05 (twenty-two years ago)

the fat in an avocado is a good type of fat, ie not hydrogenated

oops (Oops), Thursday, 31 July 2003 06:38 (twenty-two years ago)

To celebrate this we should all eat an avocado as soon as possible.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 31 July 2003 07:10 (twenty-two years ago)

peanuts and that are meant to be fatty too, is that that kind of fat? Yes please to the avocado.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Thursday, 31 July 2003 09:17 (twenty-two years ago)

Avocado is good. Pistachio nuts are the best nuts, no matter how fattening. Mmm food!

Livvie (Livvie), Thursday, 31 July 2003 09:25 (twenty-two years ago)

i hate nuts,insert joke

black plastic (black plastic), Thursday, 31 July 2003 13:33 (twenty-two years ago)

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 31 July 2003 13:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 31 July 2003 13:41 (twenty-two years ago)

He does not mean any harm.
He's very short on CHARM...

Are those rocks ahead?
If they are, we'll all be dead!

I still laugh thinking about that... such a good book/movie

The Man they call Dan (The Man they call Dan), Thursday, 31 July 2003 17:36 (twenty-two years ago)

oh my god, my stepgran brought back boxes and boxes of macadamia nuts from australia, they are soooooo delicious. i'm also a fan of any kind of honey roasted nut. hey has anyone noticed that New American ice cream is now called Peter's New American ice cream? i only noticed this cos i bought some choc eclair flavoured stuff to DCLMC last night. which brings me to another important question: is ice cream better frozen solid or do you like it a bit slushy? slushy is definitely the way to go as far as i'm concerned, and it disappoints me that there hasn't been a cooling machine invented specifically for ice cream temperature. freezers are too cold and fridges are too warm.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Thursday, 31 July 2003 20:17 (twenty-two years ago)

I don't like slushy icecream, so frozen. I put brandy essence on my icecream, dos this make me weird?

Livvie Tapper (Livvie), Thursday, 31 July 2003 20:32 (twenty-two years ago)

no. that makes you a smart cookie.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Thursday, 31 July 2003 20:58 (twenty-two years ago)

Sometimes in winter I like to warm up ice cream in the microwave. To tell you the truth I haven't done that for years, but it's actually pretty nice. I had deep fried ice cream at Denny's once, but it was too bready. I need to try better deep fried ice cream.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Friday, 1 August 2003 10:39 (twenty-two years ago)

is there a don pablos in nz? they have it there.

black plastic (black plastic), Friday, 1 August 2003 14:37 (twenty-two years ago)

i don't know of don pablo's. yeah, deep fried ice cream doesn't really work.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Saturday, 2 August 2003 01:05 (twenty-two years ago)

i resent having to eat

unknown or illegal user (doorag), Saturday, 2 August 2003 02:45 (twenty-two years ago)

i resent having to cook.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Saturday, 2 August 2003 03:02 (twenty-two years ago)

I have to make dinner tonight. It's going to be pasta, yum.

Livvie (Livvie), Saturday, 2 August 2003 04:19 (twenty-two years ago)

I peanut butter sandwich and a yogurt for dinner. Of course, dinner was at midnight, lunch was at 7pm, and breakfast was around 11am....

The Man they call Dan (The Man they call Dan), Saturday, 2 August 2003 04:45 (twenty-two years ago)

you don't HAVE to cook, you HAVE to eat tho

unknown or illegal user (doorag), Saturday, 2 August 2003 04:48 (twenty-two years ago)

i know a guy who doesn't eat at all, he lives on nothing but orange juice. it's kind of creepy.

Justyn Dillingham (Justyn Dillingham), Saturday, 2 August 2003 06:49 (twenty-two years ago)

And probably kind of fatal, eventually.

Livvie (Livvie), Saturday, 2 August 2003 07:59 (twenty-two years ago)

one month passes...
there're good and bad custard squares. the old aro street bakery in wellington nz had the best ones in the world.

Clare (not entirely unhappy), Wednesday, 17 September 2003 11:18 (twenty-two years ago)

i dispute that. the ones at de lamberts in oamaru are exquisite.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Wednesday, 17 September 2003 11:37 (twenty-two years ago)
