aren't they just failed rugbyheads/jocks? theory is just like football, its all about competing to score. i am full of all these sick things... i could just as well aim this at musicians but i'm way too self-righteous to do that. god does anyone get as disgusted by humans as i do? does anyone feel like human life is a grand joke and someones laughing real hard at us?

its okay i'm not down or anything. its the futility of it all really. everythings just a big impossibility, we're wrong about everything, we're floundering around like idiots, trying to prove that it means something. for our own sakes, cos if it means nothing then what options are left? really i'm not depressed. i've come to terms with being a bumbling fool.

new "i was too busy dancing in high school to latch on to grunge" answers.

Yeah, but what can we do, eh? We can spend time w/good people and have a nice time I guess. This is why I'm having trouble bothering w/university, I can't see it changing anything etc... I was into old records/indie, not dancing or grunge.

hi di, its ok. tis better to try and find meaning, than just exist even if the searching seems meaningless at times.
it could always be worse, you could be an unthinking soul who was completely happy to leave school get married work in the biscuit factory til you had kids ( 5 ) etc etc....
oh, hang on, that would be great.......no complex issues to try and resolve, no worrying about life the universe and everything...........*sigh*
it isnt about scoring anyway, unless people are insecure about their own thoughts. yours seem pretty balanced and good to me.
hang in there :-)

haha i was into MODERNIST POETRY, not this muzak malarkey!

"It sounds simple enough: you agree to give a 20-minute talk on your current research, and in return you get a fully funded trip to a mid-range hotel full of plain but eager academics, more than willing to be picked up after a dangerous second glass of Chardonnay."

(also I am an android, thereby neatly avoiding yr "human" trap)
(& er yeah, the random rollorcoaster through the existential v01d or whatever happens frequently, di)
