(hadn't listened to "fascist groove thing" due to phil oakey loyalty; hadn't listened to much post-tiger bay etienne; hadn't listened to anything from the black album (& it was great dancing to "99 problems" in costume w/the synth); &c&c&c (is the subway sect song a kid creole cover?).

it's the original version of "glory days", much more stomping/rocking/whatevs (wailing sax!), & v.stinging lyrics. probably the pulp track I listen to the most (w/maybe "the last day of the miner's strike" & "this house is condemned" trailing behind), when all's told (tho I tend to hear "disco 2000" & "common people" DJed all the time).
