It's peddle-expensive-and-useless-relievers time... Stanton first. Since the Mets are allegedly interested in Hidalgo, Gammons suggested Weathers last night -- sure.

That was maybe the worst Mets defensive game I've seen in 35 years, the Torre and Bamberger years included. I'm the one who should've bailed at 9-1 in the 8th instead of hstencil, since I live in beyond the "working on the G tracks" part of Brooklyn. You did miss a drunken louts' chant of "KOKOO KRISPPP" though, and Rick White spelling Sabathia in the 9th.
