let's see, rueter will be pitching. he has enormous dumbo ears and is one of the worst starters on the giants. they'll be facing a righty so you'll see snow at first (slowpoke), feliz (can't take a pitch, swings at everything) or alfonzo (slumpy mcslumpster) at third. ray durham (shorty) at 2nd. deivi cruz (???) at ss. you'll probably see tucker and grissom in right and center (more slumpster mcslumpingtons, tucker always has something to say to the umps, the big crybaby). there's that bonds guy (balco, steroids, outfield ability). if you see herges yell "nice era, good luck in fresno". "see you in fresno" would be a good line at any of the giants relievers.

I was more interested in Felipe's reaction. I've always had this impression of him as a sweet old grandpa, and after that play he was one big poppin'-fresh blood vessel. When the inning was over, Bonds went over to Herges and had a quiet word with him — I'm surprised there wasn't news this morning that Matt Herges had swallowed his own tongue sometime during the night.
