He seems to be feeling shame.

The Original Jimmy Mod: A Negro (The Famous Jimmy Mod), Wednesday, 10 August 2005 02:07 (twenty years ago)

he seemed to be feeling drunk in real time. i seriously thought he was going to throw up.

nb: this photo does not show him climbing back up the netting and into the arms of the cops.

maura (maura), Wednesday, 10 August 2005 02:23 (twenty years ago)

Again? Sheesh!

David R. (popshots75`), Wednesday, 10 August 2005 02:38 (twenty years ago)

They kept showing the view from the camera that is attached to the netting. The sound was off on my TV and I thought it was an earthquake or something.

It was pretty funny. I'm sure he'll have a fun spending the night in the Bronx.

He looked pretty disoriented. To the point where I wasn't sure if he had actually *fallen* in there unintentionally.

Great win by the Sox. Nice job Contreras. Nice job Politte.

the best part was the security guard who finally pulled him over grabbing him by the seat of his pants, like you would a three year old who's in serious trouble. as if the guy isn't humiliated enough!

Do all Yankee fans and personnel look either hard and thuggish or utterly cowed?

Some of the people in that crowd looked like the scariest people I've ever seen. I also noticed a preponderance of men.

Land Ho (dymaxia), Wednesday, 10 August 2005 12:32 (twenty years ago)

i have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

John (jdahlem), Wednesday, 10 August 2005 12:57 (twenty years ago)

Harper’s friends didn’t seem toovery worried about his condition. They planned to call him on his cell phone as soon as they finished their interviews. They also didn’t seem to think Harper’s stunt was all that dangerous.

“The people [in the lower deck] would have caught him like a little mosh pit,” Tripi said.

Classic not only for the mosh pit comment, but for the invention of the word toovery.

Leeeeeeee (Leee), Wednesday, 10 August 2005 17:11 (twenty years ago)

Are we sure this guys was even drunk? I think he may've just been an idiot.

Thermo Thinwall (Thermo Thinwall), Wednesday, 10 August 2005 19:09 (twenty years ago)

The guy in 2000 was drunk; this guy was probably just touched in a special way.

David R. (popshots75`), Wednesday, 10 August 2005 19:11 (twenty years ago)

touched by a horse via kick to the side of the head apparently

gear (gear), Wednesday, 10 August 2005 19:18 (twenty years ago)

He was 18, from Armonk and at the game with friends; I'm sure he was cold sober.

Dr Morbius (Dr Morbius), Wednesday, 10 August 2005 19:25 (twenty years ago)
