I always always thrilled to watch him throw out that first pitch every July, at good old Comiskey. What a thrill to watch that guy get up there and do that. 100 years old!!
You know he lived in that Senior Citizens home right behind Comiskey Park? The one where I always wonder what those Senior Citizens are thinking at 10, 11 O' Clock at night when the fireworks go off after a homer by the good guys? The one that you can clearly see from the upper deck, that red brick high rise right next to the parking lot? You better believe he did. A Sox fan til the end. I sincerely Hope the good guys win it all for him.
