Classic stuff from the Sheedmeister's 'Two Minute Interview' with Tim Lane in this morning'a Age:
TL: How do you feel about the flak you've copped, from talkback callers and letter writers as well as commentators, over Essendon's approach last week, suggesting you cranked them up to go out and start some fights?
KS: Well, against Port Power in round one, we only lost by 95 points, and we're coming off a six-day break, six guys need a game, and we've got five or six out of the side. I thought we actually played a pretty good game. The whole thing about working as coach at Essendon is getting them up to play somewhere near their best footy, especially after the dismal start we had over at Port Adelaide.
