two years pass...
Heaps of old ABCers there, I have noticed. As an all-round sports fan I really like it.
Westy, REB, Nerk, Esty and Hawka you should give it a go. Lucy, Benno and myself have already registered.
I hope you don't mind Fred, but I really think that this forum is going nowhere. You even seem to be sick of it!!

Hawka & REB, I can't post to your guest book on the Grandstand so you may see this here.
I haven't worked out how to forward PM's on this as yet, but good ole' cut n paste works fine.
I asked if the week by week tipping (Sticky AFL Knock out... thread) was open for REB & Hawka also.. the reply
Hello Lucy, welcome to your new forum.
Phelspy and I were discussing last night how we could make you new lot (Yourself, Chrisso, Benno, Tigers_Dav_Tas, HotPies5 and GakBro7) feel welcome and part of this forum - the AFL one in particular.
We are only running the one tipping comp on the forum (the knock-out comp) the other two are external (see "Dreamteam" and "Tipping Comp" threads) but you guys are welcome to bring your existing comp to a thread here.
Our last Knock-out Comp started last week and as there are two guys already knocked out, I will PM them and see if they will allow you lot to join late.
If they BOTH agree, then I will PM you all and post a message on said thread inviting to join for this round.

Yeah Lucy, no worries.
I'm a bit caught up with work (cough, cough) at the mo.
Do you want to PM them with the details?
Any others that are from the ex-ABC forum, or are from that Yahoo AFL forum that I've missed are welcome.
It's a this week only type of thing that they can but in, after that all will have to wait until next time it starts up.
Cheers, Slarti.

Lucy - In an effort to make our new forum members feel welcome to our AFL forum I am extending an invitation to you to join our Knock-out tipping comp.
The story is: pick a team that you believe will win this weekend (but you cannot pick a team that is currently in the top two), they win and you stay in, they lose and you're out. When it gets down to three or less players, then it will be a matter of one game being chosen and a points margin acting as the decider. Assuming that I am not still alive, I will decide the game in question and the points margin/winner will need to be PMed to me prior to that game starting.
If I am still alive, I will nominate some-one else (Phelpsy then Serge being first two choices) to take that on.
Just go to the "Knock-out Tipping Comp" sticky on the AFL thread to put you entry in - this offer is only open until the bounce in Friday night's game.
Cheers, Slarti.

Ya not the only idiot REB
I did the same, got MSN, spent an hour looking and then realised that everyone was on Grandstand.
I may not be quick but I'm thorough.
Cheers
Westy
