html checker does not catch single quote / double quote

hello all I've done something bad twice in the last week -- when entering html, I accidentally enter a link's first quote as a single quote, and then close it with a double quote. the html checker doesn't catch this, and the result actually breaks the thread on some browsers...

100 Reasons why FLOWERS OF ROMANCE is fucking awesome

I am sorry to be typing so fast that this is happening, and promise to be more careful, but if an admin could fix this I'd be grateful -- also, could this syntax error be remembered as a canidate for inclusion if the html checker is ever revved?

thanks and all

never mind, I found a way to hack it (though it remains rude)

still a good suggestion if anyone has the raw enthusiasm & time to rev the html checker, I broke a noise thread with a img src so badly that the post could even be admin'd, I'm a danger

holy moly I can't figure that out...causing no harm at the moment so I left it for other mods/admins to look at...I think an escape quote got lost somewhere in there?
