User 'ba5500' is sending offensive spam emails

We need the users email address to be able to delete it. Can you forward a sample w/mail headers to ilx.moderators(at)gmail(dot)com, please?

Just a thought: it could be somebody who likes bassoons. You could check and see if there are any I Love Music threads about bassoons.

It's not a huge deal, I guess, but I just thought if it's someone abusing the system to send spams, might as well delete the account.

I suppose, but I'd be surprised if a virus could figure out how to send an email through the ILX Send Email feature.

I received a fairly unpleasant death threat from this user. I mean, it's silly and badly spelled, but still wishes me dead. I'm glad it's not just me!

I was starting to think it was someone IRL, cos I've never started a fight on ILX, and it just doesn't seem like that kind of place, but if o.nate got one too, maybe just someone who joins message boards to post death threats for fun. Not that anyone I know in real life would do that either! I hope.
