phone numbers and addresses

STOP THE SICK BASTARDS AT CAMBRIDGE FROM OPENING THE PRIMATE LAB...

It occurs to me that they are probably real phone numbers and addresses. The morals of the question apart, is there a policy regarding this?

I am not certain what the exact policy on this is. My initial assumption was that all of that information was in the public domain and therefore allowable.

Understandable, but unless we are going to institute a "no petitioning" rule I don't think we should do anything about it.

It seems that Zac fixed it, looking at the admin log, I expect that would be just before he started a thread here about it to save Dan some of that google-proofing work.

I just de-indexed the thread where geir was asking about g0nd0la b0b. Going on what I've read about the guy from ex-ama-ers here, and what I've seen on usenet archives, I don't think having the guy googling his name and coming here would be a very good idea. YMMV, of course.
