ILM and OMD, IMHO

because of the limitations of the search function, ILM has about half a dozen threads about the band OMD.

this one - OMD: S&D - seems to be the most read and revived, but another one has now made its way back to new answers. which means that for the surprisingly large number of us who want to talk about the second-greatest synthpop band in the world, there's a bit of confusion.

my suggesion is: can we pick a thread (i'd suggest the one to which i've linked, but it's not my call) and add "official orchestral manoeuvres in the dark discussion thread" or similar to the title? that way, a) people have a better chance of finding it if they put the full band name in the search, and b) when they're confronted with a page full of very similar threads, this is the one they'll revive. hopefully.

problem is, though, i'm now filling the other revived thread full of chat, so ... ach, ignore it, it was a silly idea. surely the joy of there being multiple threads is just part of the wonder of ILM. why try to impose order on glorious chaos?
