adam, did you ever listen to that Fran-n-dank album? it's so great. mixes jay dee's production, but uses all synths (something he doesn't always do) with two mcs, one of which reminds me of Too $hort

JaXoN (JasonD), Tuesday, 30 November 2004 07:02 (twenty-one years ago)

haha, fran n dank would be so rad. it's like some weeded out old mom

JaXoN (JasonD), Tuesday, 30 November 2004 07:02 (twenty-one years ago)

Well my name is Ira and my middle name is Saul,
And the girls don't like me 'cause my schmeckle is so small,
I got a circumcision by a member of the cloth,
The rabbi had a special he took fifty percent off, OYE!

On my head I wear a yarmulke, you recognize I hope,
I wear it every time I pray, I look just like the Pope,
I got a big nose and it looks kinda funny,
But it really comes in handy, 'cause it's where I hide my money,OYE!

Well I wanna be a lawyer so you know I won't be poor,
But if I fail the bar exam I'll open up a store,
I'll never pay retail, I'll wait 'til there's a sale,
My wife would clip the coupons but she's scared to break a nail, OYE!

Remy Snush (x Jeremy), Tuesday, 30 November 2004 07:07 (twenty-one years ago)

VIC MACKEY (nordicskilla), Friday, 18 March 2005 08:01 (twenty-one years ago)

well, so far it seems like not such unfamiliar territory. a different spin perhaps. reminds me of a next generation dancehall street tapes sort of thing. lot's of language i'm not super up on. quick. bootie moving. it's nice and bombastic. all good things when i'm in the mood.

msp (msp), Friday, 18 March 2005 08:23 (twenty-one years ago)

VIC MACKEY (nordicskilla), Friday, 18 March 2005 15:43 (twenty-one years ago)

That "Crunk Classics" comp on TVT is pretty good - I picked it up for $2 in a cheapo bin and listened to it on the way home last night. Unfortunately it's the "clean" version, but for $2 I'm not complaining.

o. nate (onate), Friday, 18 March 2005 16:56 (twenty-one years ago)
