ok I am in seattle! I still want to meet noise dudes someday.

THING IS - a trusted guy just told me that a record shop here in the student/traveller part of town has raves in an upstairs room, weekendnights. I will probably go, I dunno, it sounds fun.

SO AMERICANS TELL ME:
1) Is there any reason why I wouldn't do this?
2) How much should I expect to pay for cover/pills?
3) will scary dudes be offended if I ask to taste before buying?

and yeah, anything else a useless brit should know?

i saw glowsticks at a club two weeks ago, thinking, how cute, those tourists, bringing their own glowsticks. only later i found out a local kiosk sold them. i wish id bought some, they looked all scifi-like and had some kind of strobe mode
