I know absolutely nothing about work/death, actually. :( The only thing I would have had to add was that he/she's on the Showtunes comp. (Which I still haven't picked up...).

I didn't go to the release party for that CD cuz my ex was dating DomPrurient at the time and that would have made me sad to go. Alas. I'll try to dig up some info and get back to ya.

there's definitely good stuff on the comp, especially the chance to hear more Neil Burke/Sinking Body material. i think for me the weakest stuff on it is probably by Pleasurehorse, which kind of bores me with its harsh glitch routine. the meerk puffy track is ace and the "cover" of "house of the rising sun" by (i forget and i dont have the cd handy) is pretty funny.

also i think gygax! might like work/death, but then again who can say about that crazy Sparks drinking hobbit.

I bet the cover is by Smashed Femur Dance Party, featuring Dave Fishcher of cca dot org. Dave's my adopted father.

he used to work at Atlas Bower books on Steeple Street (between East side & downtown), but I don't believe he does anymore. He's walkin along broadway sometimes. Nice dude; crazy dude.
