Holy shit. I made black-bean chili with Habaneros once -- the heat was fine, but WEAR GLOVES PEOPLE. Hand-scrubbing didn't save me from the explosion of pain that hit me when I took out my contacts later that night.

It didn't help that I had been pepper-sprayed a few months earlier. THANKS, COPS.
