Dupont-wise, and cheaper-wise, look into the Embassy Suites, the M Street Hotel (a Marriott), the Tabard Inn, the Kalorama Guest House, and the Woodley Park Guest House.

if you want to pay some more, the Jurys Washington and the Hotel Madera are in great locations.

No, you never told me that! You are like the mother panda in the article I sent my mom that the zoo showed Panda Mom TV videos for a few months while she was pregnant so she would know what to do with the panda baby when it was born (they are raised in captivity and have to be taught).
