I knew Adam way back when and dude had impeccable taste. Used to talk about starting a band that ripped off Ghost (before Ghost were popular). I was supposed to go to a NNCK show with him but something came up and I couldn't make it - the next day i asked him how it was, and dude drew me a picture of the show. Weird little dude.

roger adultery (roger adultery), Sunday, 22 August 2004 17:53 (twenty-one years ago)

I hope the picture involved squiggles.

Subject: Ghost!! (soo rockin!)
Body: Ok, so my good friend turned me onto this new band Ghost.
And may I say... freakin' AWESOME!! It has been so long since I heard songs sooo good and sooo rockin' that I have to blast it and actually jump around and dance and shake my booty! Seriously, this band rocks, and I mean that cool old fashioned funk edgey raw type of rock, with the catchiest hooks, but pure music all the way thru. An album that will make your head bop and foot tap involuntarily, for sure. Everyone should run out and buy it NOW!! You will NOT be dissappointed!

"before Ghost were popular" = "when signed to Drag City" ???

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Sunday, 22 August 2004 18:32 (twenty-one years ago)

anybody see the new jane magazine featuring a review of burned mind?
here it is. "no one actually listens to a wolf eyes cd. theyre a noise band.
you
go see them live, because thats what the 'tastemakers' in your community do.
at some point during the show, you walk up to someone hot and say, 'this is
really
awesome, but maybe we should get some air.' when they say yes, you mumble,
'by 'get some air,' i meant 'have sex.'' theyll just nod because its way too
noisy.
then, you know, free sex. they promised" then they give the album 4 out of 4
stars.
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
mildew.
