my new theme song:

A Kombi "The Pope & I" Music To Drive-By

jack cole (jackcole), Tuesday, 31 August 2004 16:24 (twenty-one years ago)

John Wilkes Booze played here awhile ago. In a very little club. They are really kick-the-fuck-ASS.

Today my theme song is Bon Jovi "Livin' On a Prayer".

nickalicious (nickalicious), Tuesday, 31 August 2004 16:46 (twenty-one years ago)

the tetris song

Felonious Drunk (Felcher), Tuesday, 31 August 2004 16:48 (twenty-one years ago)

im jealous -- i really liked jwb's five pillars of soul cd-rs -- good fun.

jack cole (jackcole), Tuesday, 31 August 2004 16:48 (twenty-one years ago)

the mai shi "do this"... i have NO idea, why it's my theme song, but it's a catchy little 1:27 song.

i missed JWB... i wasn't terribly impressed by their record... eh?
m.

msp (msp), Tuesday, 31 August 2004 16:53 (twenty-one years ago)

i imagine hearing it all one big chunk might be different than the shorter cd-rs, which the KRS CD digs from.

jack cole (jackcole), Tuesday, 31 August 2004 16:57 (twenty-one years ago)

They are WAAAAY better live, fwiw.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Tuesday, 31 August 2004 17:20 (twenty-one years ago)

JWB OWNED Bloomington Fest - even though it was the first time I'd seen them sober. You really have to see them live. And drunk.

Ian c=====8 (orion), Tuesday, 31 August 2004 23:25 (twenty-one years ago)

So far, I don't have a theme song. :-(

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Wednesday, 1 September 2004 00:07 (twenty-one years ago)

surely, tim, there is a song to sum up your current self at this moment.

jack cole (jackcole), Wednesday, 1 September 2004 01:20 (twenty-one years ago)

"Stuck in the Middle with You" by Stealers Wheel. I'm stuck in the middle of writing my thesis and feeling muddled by a chapter I have to write for which I have forty pages of notes. Tomorrow, I get to work on it for much of the day so my theme song will be "BREAK ON THROUGH" BY THE DOORZ.

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Wednesday, 1 September 2004 01:30 (twenty-one years ago)

Jack, how do you feel about "Sock It To 'Em, Soul Brother"?

Monetizing Eyeballs (diamond), Wednesday, 1 September 2004 02:00 (twenty-one years ago)

Bill Moss is my new hero. The Capsoul Comp is tres bien. "Sock It To 'Em, Soul Brother" is a more than worthy theme song.

jack cole (jackcole), Wednesday, 1 September 2004 02:11 (twenty-one years ago)
