bell labs (bell_labs), Monday, 29 January 2007 14:45 (nineteen years ago)

dokebi is great!

be home by 11 (orion), Monday, 29 January 2007 15:29 (nineteen years ago)

"Ice shins and nap until brunch of steak & eggs & two screwdrivers, then ice + nap again" day! It was exhausting.

Laurel (Laurel), Monday, 29 January 2007 15:32 (nineteen years ago)

dokebi is very good! they don't bring you nearly enough kimchee though. next time i go i will order a large side of it.

today i'm meeting my friend for lunch and i've decided it's moules frites day!

bell labs (bell_labs), Monday, 29 January 2007 15:53 (nineteen years ago)

jaxon (jaxon), Tuesday, 30 January 2007 04:53 (nineteen years ago)

oh dear bell labs u r great because moules frites is awesome!

also i want to go to this korean place now! there were no good korean places in roch and the one i loved in my parents' town closed. so... who wants noise kimchee with me soon?????

the art of pretend non-lawyering. (tehresa), Tuesday, 30 January 2007 08:17 (nineteen years ago)

i'll go, but what we had at dokebi (bbq, bulgogi, nakji boekum, naeng myun) wasn't as good as koreatown. you can grill at the table, though, which is great.

lauren (laurenp), Tuesday, 30 January 2007 15:01 (nineteen years ago)

i had a kimchee stew which was good, but pretty standard! i would definitely go back there though, esp. for noise bbq(they have a pretty cheap bar too.)

bell labs (bell_labs), Tuesday, 30 January 2007 15:19 (nineteen years ago)

i bet lauren p likes that koreatown spot with the hueg waterfall. that place is my jam.

the kwisatz bacharach (sanskrit), Tuesday, 30 January 2007 15:42 (nineteen years ago)

Is that the same as the place with the WHITE baby grand piano perched on a ledge on a fake rock wall? Because that was amazing.

Laurel (Laurel), Tuesday, 30 January 2007 15:45 (nineteen years ago)

that's kum gang san, which i actually don't like very much! they are the most generous with the panchan, though.

xpost

lauren (laurenp), Tuesday, 30 January 2007 15:46 (nineteen years ago)

lauren p.. in a kimchee bikini.

be home by 11 (orion), Tuesday, 30 January 2007 17:14 (nineteen years ago)

HOT!

i will go anywhere for korean, it doesn't have to be dokebi (though it is tempting bc it is close)

the art of pretend non-lawyering. (tehresa), Tuesday, 30 January 2007 23:43 (nineteen years ago)

i'm fine with dokebi. i assume it'll make organizing easier.
