i still never bought a desk chair. still using card table folding chairs.

i have a tall chair (just modified office chair w/extra tall post) that i can sit at if tired. and a footrest to put one leg up at a time to switch ballance

we also have fulltime ergo peeps here and at least 7 others in my team (of about 25 total) are standing

i could get into that

do the ergonomics people also have shoe suggestions for you, jaxon? could it be done in bare feet? i bet the real deal requires a lot of measuring. my right shoulder is sort of angry these days.

no shoe suggestions, but i'm never not wear sneakers. there's lots of measuring that goes into it. elbows at 90 degree angles. monitor arm's length from face. monitor a bit taller than eye level.

i was at a bar w/a friend of a friend who's pretty fucking crazy. like you can't look him in the eyes crazy and he's probably done way too much speed in his life. he pointed out his (cop) roommate and said "he's the only person crazier than me". later in the evening cop dude comes up to me, and i'm wearing a black and white houndstooth scarf. he asks me if i'm palestinian. i told him i was jewish and he said "good, i wasn't sure what i was gonna do if you were". uh, scary

I'd say half of the people here at the radio station do their shows standing up. I guess you talk better with a diaphragm that's straight.

i went to the mac lab or sat on my bed with my word processor!
and i never learned to read!

so i have a desk, but i need a chair, preferably for under or around thirty bucks and in black. any ideas?

i think something like a single black folding chair could be good enough, but a lot of places sell them in multiples.
