I HAVE PROBABLY SAID THIS BEFORE. BUT THE EARTH "REUNION" SHOW WAS PROBABLY THE SHITIEST THING IVE EVER SEEN...AND IVE SEEN SUPERCHUNK. TWICE.

ddb (ddb), Tuesday, 14 September 2004 02:23 (twenty-one years ago)

cutty (mcutt), Tuesday, 14 September 2004 02:37 (twenty-one years ago)

hstencil (hstencil), Tuesday, 14 September 2004 02:39 (twenty-one years ago)

Gygax!, let's talk about bad early '90s live shows! I vote for Mule as being the worst.

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Tuesday, 14 September 2004 02:55 (twenty-one years ago)

haha I saw Mule (but maybe my posts are invisible to Mr. Tim Ellison).

hstencil (hstencil), Tuesday, 14 September 2004 03:01 (twenty-one years ago)

I WAS RIBBING TEH GYGAX.

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Tuesday, 14 September 2004 03:41 (twenty-one years ago)

Are You Invisible Sometimes?

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Tuesday, 14 September 2004 03:46 (twenty-one years ago)

worst SD live set was creedle opening for trumans water, very early 90s... man that shit was bad. the record turned out to be okay actually. i would like to hear that again.

although the TGs at UCSD: mary's danish, the beat farmers, dave wakeling, tmbg, oingo boingo, a very, very young no doubt (pre-gwen?)... i mean that's college rock for you.

gygax! (gygax!), Tuesday, 14 September 2004 04:35 (twenty-one years ago)

WAKELING ROXOR

dean? (deangulberry), Tuesday, 14 September 2004 04:36 (twenty-one years ago)

i was underwhelmed by will oldham + anam.

superchunk... the thrill for me was already gone.

gosh, but absolute hell was the mighty mighty bosstones post-popularity.

or no... the nelsons perhaps. "after the rain"...ugh.

the poison show i saw was embarassing at times. warrant was really bad tho. ugh. i was pissed to miss quiet riot. Q: is $42 too much for a poison hockey jersey?

we had this noise show in our abandoned basement and the main act if you will was pretty awful. just a dude screaming obsenities through a homemade mic while wearing a devil mask. sort of like whitehouse, but worse. just his vox + feedback. the low point was hit when our upstairs neighbors came down and asked us to turn it down... their son was crying.

alas.

mayo apetrain (mayoape), Tuesday, 14 September 2004 14:41 (twenty-one years ago)

one huge dissapointment was the Red Crayola incarnation with whats-his-face in it. about six years ago? what's that fuckers name? anyhow, the show was a laughable dud.

mayo apetrain (mayoape), Tuesday, 14 September 2004 14:52 (twenty-one years ago)

omg mary's danish!

lauren (laurenp), Tuesday, 14 September 2004 15:10 (twenty-one years ago)

i liked mary's danish...i doubt it's held up tho.

ddb (ddb), Tuesday, 14 September 2004 15:20 (twenty-one years ago)
