So the first time I listened to this I came across a part of "Backstabber" where it sounded like she sang "show us what you're good for / post it to the noise board" and I was all like haha, noise board, and then it took me a second to realize there was anything strange about that.

Then I figured she said something else and I just misheard, but all internet lyric transcriptions seem to think that it's "post it to the noise board."

Jewelly,
when you faint or unconscious are you like stretched out flat on your back...are your arms out to the side or elbows bent , arms in the upward position?? I find it erotic ONLY if it is not a life threatening situation......I would rather have a woman to PRETEND...that way you know she is safe.....it is a sort of foreplay......
The woman pretends to faint...the man pretends to revive her by kissing her and massaging her....
what do you think of this?????
I would like to find a woman who would role play this....

The world’s demand for more oil comes as supplies are more vulnerable than at any time in the past 30 years. The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, which has long provided global markets with a cushion of extra production capacity, is now pumping as fast as it can. Production facilities by OPEC producers Nigeria and Iraq are under attack by armed insurgents, raising the threat of supply interruptions. Growing tensions with Iran have raised fears that the 4.1 million barrels a day it produces could once again become a political weapon, much as it did when a cutoff of oil after the Iranian revolution of 1979 touched off a spike oil prices and long lines at American gasoline stations.

"Hi" is such an interesting word. In addition to its conventional usage, I used it in this sarcastic mode: "He told me that I needed a library card before I could check out books. It's like, hi, I wasn't born yesterday."
Also sometimes as a way of interrupting an awkward silence -- of which I can think of two scenarios. 1) Staring at the face of a new girlfriend right after we've kissed, I just say "Hi."
As in, "So here we are, and this is nice, right?" 2) I've just made a fool of myself somehow, like I've spilled coffee all over my shirt, and people are waiting for me to react, and I just say "Hi." I guess that's just short for "Hi, I'm an idiot," which may be related to the sarcastic mode above.

"Someone's Watching Over Me"

Found myself today
Oh I found myself and ran away
Something pulled me back
The voice of reason I forgot I had
All I know is you're not here to say
What you always used to say
But it's written in the sky tonight

So I won't give up
No I won't break down
Sooner than it seems life turns around
And I will be strong
Even if it all goes wrong
When I'm standing in the dark I'll still believe
Someone's watching over me

Seen that ray of light
And it's shining on my destiny
Shining all the time
And I wont be afraid
To follow everywhere it's taking me
All I know is yesterday is gone
And right now I belong
To this moment to my dreams

So I won't give up
No I won't break down
Sooner than it seems life turns around
And I will be strong
Even if it all goes wrong
When I'm standing in the dark I'll still believe
Someone's watching over me

It doesn't matter what people say
And it doesn't matter how long it takes
Believe in yourself and you'll fly high
And it only matters how true you are
Be true to yourself and follow your heart

So I won't give up
No I won't break down
Sooner than it seems life turns around
And I will be strong
Even if it all goes wrong
When I'm standing in the dark I'll still believe
That I won't give up
No I won't break down
Sooner than it seems life turns around
And I will be strong
Even when it all goes wrong
When I'm standing in the dark I'll still believe
That someone's watching over
Someone's watching over
Someone's watching over me

Someone's watching over me

whatever he was busted for, the deal he cut must explain his writing of op-eds and attempts to get people to send him stuff. he's asking for certain files/links for a reason, someone wants to trace how unreleaseds music gets out. you would think if that's the plan it wouldn't be done in such a stupid way

BUTT IS THE LONELIEST NUMBER (Adrian Langston), Monday, 24 April 2006 00:51 (twenty years ago)

Here is a picture of me. I'm going to take some more pictures and scan some things in so that it's a little more accurate, but this will have to do for now. Click on the highlited areas for a closeup picture and in-depth explanation. You can also just go back (an action encouraged for the potential employer or easily squeamish).

http://www.wxdu.org/~jason/body/whole.jpg

If you really want to be technical, I got the earring first of all (the lower one, back in 1990). The upper one happened in 1994, and has remained a 18 gauge stud. The lower one has been stretched out to a 4 gauge tunnel. I wanted a grommet, but Dave (the piercing guy) said they fall out too easily.

http://www.wxdu.org/~jason/body/ear.jpg

This is my arm-band tattoo. It was done at Choice Peach Tattooing in Carrboro, NC. I worked with Tom there to make a design that I felt incorporated both my innate genetic makeup, and my developed self. I'm really happy with it (which is good, since it's like, permanent and stuff).

http://www.wxdu.org/~jason/body/arm2.jpg
http://www.wxdu.org/~jason/body/arm1.jpg

This is the first piercing I got. I got it back in '92, and it didn't hurt much at all. It's been stretched out a couple of times since then, and it's now got a 10 gauge 'o' in it. I only got one done 'cause I only wanted one done (it also balances out my ear).

http://www.wxdu.org/~jason/body/chest.jpg

I got a belly button ring with my then-girlfriend (We each got one. I wanted to get those little "Friends Forever" heart charms, but she poo-pooed that. In retrospect, that was probably a good thing). This probably hurt the most of anything I've willfully done. The funky prismatic coating has faded since I got it, so perhaps it's time for a new ring.

Im looking for someone clean, respectfull, quite and works during the day! I am in the adult industry and work from home. I edit adult films at home, Im constantly on porn sites marketing my website and have an assistant here aswell during the day on a part time bassis doing office work. If your not familiar with trannsexuals, this is not a place for you. I run a personnal webcam during the daytime at times and this is why I is important that I get someone who is gone during the day for such privacy. You need to be working during the daytime or dont reply to this post.

Weekends are flexible and more relaxed.

Also, I do not need anyone that likes listening to loud music, especially RAP or HIP HOP music listeners!

Hot chicks with lazy eyes - mw4w - 26

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Reply to: [email protected]
Date: 2006-04-27, 1:58PM PDT

So my girlfriend and I want to have a threesome. Ok, lets be honest, I'd really like to have a threesome, and she's down to have some fun. She's a cool chick, very very cute. She looks a lot like Lindsay Lohan. I'm your average guy, I've been told I look i bit like Ed Norton. Not quite "American History X" Ed Norton, but a good looking guy.

Here's the catch. Being like any girlfriend, she wants to be the hot one, and neither of us want to sleep with an ugly chick. So that being said, we're looking for a really good looking woman with a wandering eye thats down to have a fun night with some normal people. Preferably one that looks completely the opposite direction of the other one, where its hard to tell where the hell you're looking. I know, kind of a strange request, but I've found everything else I need on craigslist, who's to say I can't find this.

Now don't get me wrong, I have nothing against wandering eyes, its just a good imperfection that will make my girlfriend feel confident that I won't go running off w/ this random woman. Other possible imperfections that could be substituted are unibrows, 6th toes, giant birth marks, crooked teeth, etc. etc. You get the idea, and lets be honest, everyone's got something wrong, but it just has to stand out. Other than physical imperfections, we'd like someone fairly normal. No weird fetishes, like feet, or bondage, and god knows I don't want someone peeing on me.

If you think I'm kidding, I'm not. But I am pretty bored at work... Nonetheless, please send all pics, emails, and hate mail my way. I'll respond to anyone that catches our eye, no pun intended.... AND WE ARE ONLY LOOKING FOR A WOMAN!!!! NO MEN PLEASE, although I wish you luck with your wandering eyes as well.

Rule 2: No You Did Not
This rule comes into play when lyrics just plain don't ring true. This rule is perfect for The Decemberists.

Let's have a look at the lyrics from The Decemberists' "The Bagman's Gambit":

It was late one night
I was awoken by the telephone
I heard a strangled cry on the end of the line
purloined in Petrograd
they were suspicious of where your loyalties lay
so I paid off a bureaucrat
to convince your captors they're to secret you away

No you did not.

OK, how about the lyrics to their song, "My Mother Was a Chinese Trapeze Artist":

My mother was a Chinese trapeze artist
In pre-war Paris
Smuggling bombs for the underground.
And she met my father
At a fete in Aix-en-Provence.
He was disguised as a Russian cadet
in the employ of the Axis.
And there in the half-light
Of the provincial midnight
To a lone concertina
They drank in cantinas
And toasted to Edith Piaf
And the fall of the Reich.

Stop fucking lying.

Anyone who sings about pantaloons, parapets, and palanquins in the year 2006, and uses words like "betrothed" and "a-waving" can take the next bus to the historical reenactment festival.

However, when Tom Waits says he was "stirring my brandy with a nail", then he was. End of story.

No, because 120 isn't massively above the average score and places like this skew towards the high end of the spectrum; it's like going to a super-nerdy school and bragging about score 1400 on your SATs to an audience that averaged 1550.

Dad Jokes: An InsideJoke.TV Expose

By Jenni Cramer

Even if it's not your Dad, you still feel obligated to laugh.

“How long did Lionel Ritchie sit on the toilet?”

“I don't know. How long?”

(singing)“All night long!”

“…ha…ha…ha…”

That was a forced laugh. In fact, its not even funny at all, but I was obliged to laugh. Care to know why? The joke teller was my Dad. The joke itself, a typical Dad Joke. The kind of jokes only Dads can make, and only their children can pretend to laugh at.

Dad Jokes have been around since the dawn of time, when Adam said to his son Cain, “Stop me if you’ve heard this one… a horse walked into a bar, the bartender said ‘Why the long face?” Cain gave a subtle chuckle, being that he didn’t know what a “horse” or a “bar” were, but out of respect for his father, and fear of being banished from paradise, Cain laughed. Neither funny nor contestable, the Dad Joke was born. Unfortunately, this tradition has been passed on from generation to generation.

Everyone tells jokes, but Dads have the apparent monopoly on frequency and lame-ness. Years of research have shown that within family dynamics, the paternal joke telling far exceeds the maternal. Some studies suggest when moms hear jokes, they forget them five minutes later, therefore can’t orally pass down the tale at hand. Whereas Dads have a stronger long-term memory retention, and drive to be the one talking at all times. Moms also tend to have no stage presence or delivery, forcing the punch line to be brushed over or forgotten at the climactic conclusion.

“Mom was telling this joke she heard at tennis about Speedy Gonzales and his car catching on fire. But when she finally got the end, she totally forgot the punch line. That’s four minutes of my life I can never have back,” said Kirk Olson, 23. Mother Olson gently reminded Kirk that his birth took fourteen painful hours, to which father Olson jumped in with, “That reminds me of a good one… Why did the gynecologist go to the eye doctor? Because things were looking a little fuzzy.”

The Dad Joke has it’s evolutionary roots in the childish “me put pee pee in your coke”, the adolescent “pull my finger”, and post-pubescent “the Burger King forgot to wrap his Big Whopper.” The Dad Joke improves on the others, tending to be much more sophisticated, seasoned with years of wisdom and racial slurs.

Oh, Dad! Do your slightly amusing, occasionally racist jokes ever end?

Dads feel the need to contribute to any familial conversation, and to participate in the lives of his kin. With their vast knowledge of jokes in all areas, they can interject into any topic at hand. Politics? (George Bush is so stupid, he went to a concert and waved to Stevie Wonder. Law? (What do you call an honest lawyer? An oxymoron) Medicine? (Why did the blonde nurse take a red magic marker to work? In case she had to draw some blood.)

Though some of these jokes are incomprehensible, the ones the public is able to “get” are often downright distasteful. Race, gender, intelligence, nor hair color know boundaries with Dads and their tales. The typical joke-teller would be ridiculed and punished for their off-color remarks. Dads, on the other hand, are found endearing.

The most puzzling trait of the Dad Joke is its consistent lacking of any actual humor. The laughter never comes from the joke itself, at least, not to the audience. Instead, the comedy lies in us watching Dad laugh for hours on end, over nothing. As the Dad laughs at his joke’s content, the child can laugh at their father. Both parties are happy, and no one has to know the joke tanked.

It makes one wonder…what if Dads realized that no one thinks their jokes are funny? What if children worldwide revolted against shoddy joke telling and forced laughter? The answer is clear… the truth would break their hearts. This is why the Dad Joke has gone on for so long, uncriticized, and why it will continue to go on. Sometimes ignorance is bliss.

Here’s another lesson to learn… don’t play leap frog with a unicorn.

What we thought to be the impossible has happened. The Spock Market has
fallen victim to unexpected calamity. In a market collapse akin to that of
the 1929 crash of sector 001, in an event that many are already calling
Black Monday, the needs of the many have gone unfulfilled. Now is not the
time to panic, but to live up to our lofty ideals, to contemplate what we,
as a United Federation of Planets must do to progress beyond this obstacle.
Already we have our top economic advisors working toward a solution to keep
the problem soluble and to move the market towards fiscal solvency.
Chairman of the Federation Securities and Exchange Commission, Alan
Greenspock has taken severe steps to prevent a complete economic breakdown
and a dramatic rise in inflation rates. The following changes are the
results of his actions:

* The Market has been adjusted to deal with what is fast becoming a
Dilithium based economy.
* The stocks of all traders have been liquidated and divested into
Dilithium Mining and Mineral bonds, which are to be held at the Central
Federation Bank and Trust.
* All remaining FDR has been converted into "New FDR," with an exchange
rate of 1 New FDR for every 10 Quadrillion Original FDR
* The now obsolete FDR shall henceforth be referred to as "Old FDR"
* The current FDR shall be henceforth referred to simply as "FDR"

Keep your eyes posted to the Spock Market Headlines for updates. We will
rebuild, we will stabilize an unstable galactic economy. As
always, to you friends and allies of the Federation, from Trill to Bajor,
and from Earth to Vulcan, we declare, "Peace and long life. Live long and
prosper!"

John Coltrane
Live at the Village Vanguard: The Master Takes
[Impulse!]
Rating: 8.5

The Village Vanguard. New York City. 1961.

We was sittin' there watchin' the stage. Waitin' for the man they called Coltrane to come out and do his thing. It was me and my four droogs. Them bein' Peter, Georgio and Dim; Dim being really Dim.

'Round an hour'd passed and the place was packed straight through to the back. I'd just dropped some dollars for 'Trane's Giant Steps six months back. Now was the time, this was the place. The Village Vanguard. New York City. 1961.

I was only there for the first night, see, but them cats at Impulse! just made my life complete. They put out four CDs of all that sound 'Trane put out those nights. But you know my type, man. Can't afford to eat, let alone spend some heavy cash on music. So I only got the essential. Live at the Village Vanguard: The Master Takes is one disc, makin' it one-fourth the cost of the box set. And you only get the best stuff.

Man, the opening beauty of "Spiritual..." It's like a dream I had: I floated on the River Nile, smokin' some fresh weed, relaxin'. But I ain't ever gonna see the Nile anyhow. This track's as close as I come, and it's close enough. Best of the best, though, has gotta be "India." It's only when you listen to a perfect old jazz tune like this that you realize how much drum-n-bass is derived from this music. 'Trane takes it to heaven and back with some style, man. Some richness, daddy. It's a sad thing his life was cut short by them jaws o' death.

Shit, cat. It don't make a difference. The man produced enough good music to last me a lifetime. This Village Vanguard thing's just another example of the genius of Coltrane.

-Ryan Schreiber

just read this entire blog - and I love some of the replies -- like this one....
...`Fuck Radiohead! No pretty boys hiding behind sampled music here. Cold Play got it right. Like I said: 'The truth is a hard message to hear!" With instant classics such as "Sparks" and the pro-oriental anthem "Yellow", Cold Play is well on their way. As for England, who's past musical contributions - excluding U2 - have been marginal at best, my hat's off to you. Famous for good shoes and bad teeth, England has redeemed itself with Cold Play. God Bless The Queen.`

First off, U2 are from Ireland - get your facts tight - amazing you don`t know that the band you think made the best contribution to England (in your mind anyways) isn`t actually from England !....doh!! and duh! I guess any accent in the english language that doesn`t sound american is british to you lol

Second, you consider Floyd, Beatles, Stones, Sex Pistols (and the list could go on forever)... dim contributions from england to music only salvaged by Coldplay coming along? Or did you think those bands were from Ireland ? LOL - Please tell me you had no idea those bands were from England so I can feel that you some have kind of knowledge about music but are just bad with geography.

But one thing I can give you credit for is you put two bands in the same bucket that deserve to be ...somewhat... - both Coldplay and U2 have gotten boring... but at least U2 had a fairly good period where they weren`t `the joshua tree` is a very respectable album and in general they had good albums... but the last few are limping. And Bono on stage has become annoying .every performance being the same as Bono says to self `ok now I will take an excited teen female fan from the audience on stage with me and sing to her as she freaks out being so close to my big ego - and all the other teens flip out` lol - it is really boring...

As I continue to say on here, aside from a resonable debut album called `parachutes`... Coldplay has done nothing else but go downhill since then and become banal and are nowhere near being some of the top players from England historically. Today maybe since music is at an all time low creatively it seems.

And comparing them to Radiohead is just complete utter nonsense and anyone who is saying that they are in the same league, nevermind saying Martin and his band are superior, really strike me as having limited knowledge about music or very closed minds.

Some fucking nutjob on "Sound on Sound" magazine's forum yesterday:

I really should be doing something more useful with my time.

But i thought that it would be a good idea to expand apon the "Microsoft" and "google" elements of my argument.

Now if i wanted to cut the grass one day but had never done it before I would have to work out how to do it.

So logic would suggest to me that i would need a sharp object capable of cutting grass. Well i could go and use a pair of scissors (windows xp) If i didn't know that their was a flymower (OSX or Linux)in the shed.

I could try to look for information about how to do it but if i ask the wrong person (google) i could still end up using scissors or worse a tea spoon

You only have choice if you know and understand that their are alternatives.

Of course this situation is further confused by me walking into a grass cutting shop and only finding xp scissors for sale. If i had never used a lawn mower and nobody else did there must be a reason for it. Logic suggests.

But on the flip side it could also be argued that if the windows scissors company had established a huge monopoly on grass cutting and could push and inferior product because they already had market share and could promote miss information like

"only odd balls and the rich used fly mowers"

Then a different kind of logic can be perceived. So with that Its important to take into account different perspectives on the same topic.

WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?

Pashmina (Pashmina), Saturday, 6 May 2006 12:16 (twenty years ago)

I tried to help, I really did.

To the patient folks on here I am simply gonna reply to the comments made by two people about me so skip through these few paragraphs for me not to be wasting your time if you don`t want to read what I have to say to them...

caek - you are refering to the UK I presume, sure England and Northern Ireland are within the UK. But England and UK are not the same thing... the comment I replied to above was from someone referring specifically to `England` and lack of talent coming out of that country aside from U2. Ireland is not part of England - plus U2 were formed in Dublin to my knowledge which is Southern Ireland and isn`t even part of the UK btw.. So even if the fellow above was refering to the UK thinking it was the same as England (and in all fairness a lot of folks I know do think they are one and the same so it is a common thought) he was off in assuming U2 are from the UK. Please do check your facts before calling someone dumbass ok? And if my facts are incorrect by all means correct them for me... But in all fairness, yup I shouldn`t have stated how I feel about Bono these days - irrelevant I do agree. I somehow doubt you will apologize for what you called me though given you are wrong in YOUR assumption about England and Ireland... but anyways... that is fine you are allowed to think what you want of me really.

Doctor Faustus - I do appreciate your comment, reading back I have been harsher than necessary and have added more opinion in my last post than needed. sorry for that - you are right in your comment. But also do read carefully what I had said... I said most Coldplay fans would not know the Barrett I was refering to... and given the number of responses from people offering suggestions of who I might be refering to, none being correct btw - what I suspected seems right. It was by no means a condescending comment but rather that it is a fact that most people just don`t know who he is. I think people heavily into Floyd would know and potentially people who are into bands heavily influenced by him as they took time to read about the bands they like and who influenced them and then reading about their influences (Radiohead being one of them influenced by Barrett but not Coldplay). And I think that makes Yorke very respectable in his ability to recognize a great creative musical mind and use that as an influence for his work. (mind you Martin is using Yorke as an influence so that shows something about Martin too I think.)

May I remind you that you are in a discussion forum where there will be opinions and facts stated. I have (unfortunately harshly) corrected comments made by people based on incorrect facts. Correcting the facts is important in a discussion I would think.

And again - without trying to sound like an ass at all - what are both of you contributing to this topic? your responses right now don`t have anything to do with what is being discussed...

Please stay on topic ... vs turning on people who are just trying to make this a real and accurate debate.

I just would love to see some responses such as some that have been posted where people state their choice and their reasons why based on the artist as a musician, not the way they look or what is assumed their personality is (or what bus they chose to ride) without even personally knowing them... and more importantly based on facts that are sometimes incorrect...

So back on topic - my point of view stands that Yorke is just a better artist and musician - but that is my opinion. Love to hear from others on the topic.

This movie has things I usually love in movies: great acting, wonderful music and some fantastic dancing. The story line is good too. It's a very thinly veiled bio of Bob Fosse, arguably one of the best choreographers of all time.

So why don't I like this movie? I think it's because I'm used to movies like this having singing, dancing and a happy ending (we call those movies "mom" movies in my house!) Instead, we see how this wonderfully talented man ruined his life by driving the people he loves away from him.

Well, bleh! That's a bit too much like real life for me.

Sarek and the Klingon ambassador are engaged in some pretty nifty verbal sparring. Sarek's "... do you de-ny these events" is answered with "we de-ny nothing" with the just the right amount of mockery (the Klingon ambassador mimics the cadence and tonal dynamics on the word "deny" [what a catty fellow!]) but the best part is when the Klingon ambassador leaves in a huff, and there's a voice that barely arises above the chatter from the gallery and yells, "You pompous ass!" That's the moment that Star Trek IV transcends the franchise and its genre to become a neo-realist masterpiece! (Some might argue that that moment comes later, when Spock nerve-pinches the SF boombox punk on the bus, but they're wrong!)

First off, there are two groups of mormons one practices poligomy the other doesn't. The ones in Utah don't. What they call themselves now is LDS for Latter Day Saint. The Reformed Mormons left the church hundreds of years ago and practice Poligomy. Even AMW respected that and mentioned that.(Thier self appointed prophet is wanted). As for the beggining of Poligomy for Mormons in the first place, according to the PROPHET Joseph Smith GOD wanted the Mormons to BECAUSE SURVIVAL THEN WAS LIMITED. Out of like fourteen childeren only two will live to see maybe eight years of age. Does that answer that. Then Joseph taught that sexual sin is an ambomination. I don't see that self appointed prophet of the reformed mormon church saying that, he promotes it in fact. Besides it was probably the wrong people asked that question "did the prophet have sex with you?" I've never heard of that before of course new crap always comes up. So your better source is the LDS web-site or a church near you. Then again people are afraid of Mormons. And how many people in those times married younger people? I've even heard that Ben Franklin married a 14 year old when he was like 80. Who is stupid enough to not were a helmet? Let's see most injuries to the brain are cuased by hmm not wearing a helmet, what do you know? Anything else a teen can answer? I'm not even a teacher or priest and I know these things. I get up at 5 in the morning just to learn more. I bet most of those people that write about us arn't even mormon or even set foot in our church. So are you going to fix that? Or is your site going to be a Lie?

My opinion is if this contry has a freedom of speech, RELIGION, and so on why do you go against that? Most people think freedom of religion first, then turn to say crap about others religion? I know we don't say a word about others religion negatively just thats what they believe in and leave it at that. Not a negative comment to any.

from another message board, a record-store clerk reports:

while we're on the subject of questionable parenting, a guy came into the store with his kid, probably about 14.

kid wants an icp cd (yes, there are folks who listen to icp with a sense of humor, but that is one characteristic distinctly lacking from most of the younger fans--they take it seriously), and the father says, if i buy that for you, your little girlfriend has to show me her pussy.

he didn't even say it in a particularly hushed tone, so i just gagged and hoped it was some kind of metaphor for...i don't know, but something, please. i mean, 'cause he bought the disc.

The first time I was exposed to Andrew WK I was at a friend's place. We'd drunk some wine and had smoked a massive joint. We were watching MuchMusic. I hadn't had TV for years at this point. Andrew WK was in the Much environment. A really hot VJ was hosting things. She was wearing a really nice red top. She said some witty things. People were pulling all sorts of ridiculous shenanigans - some girl poured creamed corn down the front of her pants. There was a commercial break - lots of loud sounds, bright colours, beautiful people selling you things. Then they played the "Party Hard" video. My friend was laughing "It's so metal - it reminds me of Grade 7!" I felt at that moment a truly deep and intense love for pop culture and all it stands for. Massive fucking corporations, pumping all kinds of financial and human resources into discovering exactly what will tickle which nerve endings, stimulate which pent-up desires, shaping all the dreams and desires and anxieties that have defined me since childhood, discovering and exploiting every primal urge that can be used, sexual, violent, what not, even the urge to rebel against the system efficiently co-opted and exploited, it's almost Brave New World - what a beautiful thing! Every little thing that happened on TV seemed to have been carefully planned out with these ends. To think human civilization had reached this point! Half the hard rock bands on TV were as good as Def Leppard! At least half the girl pop stars were as good as Tiffany! And Def Leppard and Tiffany were the greatest things ever!

Then we went to see Bernard Parmegiani at the Rien a voir festival.
