Dude, I'm from America! Bummah!

How 'bout American singers what got southern accents (I am from Kentucky, after all)?

If that flies, then I'll say Alison Krauss.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Tuesday, 25 March 2003 22:13 (twenty-three years ago)

You could vote for Sheena Easton. Dunno what way that actually would go, but hey, you could.

William Bloody Swygart (mrswygart), Tuesday, 25 March 2003 22:24 (twenty-three years ago)

Isobelle & Sebastian. A lilting Glasgow accent to melt the hardest of hearts.

Johnboy, Tuesday, 25 March 2003 22:36 (twenty-three years ago)

Who's sexy and foreign in 2005?

Lord Custos Epsilon (Lord Custos Epsilon), Monday, 3 January 2005 13:13 (twenty-one years ago)

For Scottish, Adele from Sons & Daughters (she was also on some Arab Strap tunes) wins it. Her accent is stronger than Emma Pollock's, if not as sweet. But she sounds cool, imposing and sexy as hell.

I like the distinction between British and Scottish. Don't the Welsh count? Shirley Bassey!

Turkey versus Eagle, McCauley is my Beagle (Jody Beth Rosen), Monday, 3 January 2005 13:20 (twenty-one years ago)

Turkey versus Eagle, McCauley is my Beagle (Jody Beth Rosen), Monday, 3 January 2005 13:21 (twenty-one years ago)

Anything by Ivy, or anything else with Dominique Durand involved.
